6 Group Formula 2025

If we have 21 members  including both alternates.

Take the fourth golfer out of group 3, group 4, and group 5.  The number 1 alternate(Scott) would go in group 3 making it a foursome. The number 2 alternate (Grant) would go with the other two members pulled from groups 4 and 5 making a new Group  6 threesome. Groups 4 and 5 will also now be a threesome.

We will have 3 threesomes and 3 foursomes.

If we have 20 with one alternate

If it’s one of the alternates calling off take the fourth golfer out of group 4 and 5 and add the alternate to make a group 6.

We will have 3 foursomes and 3 threesomes.

If we have all 22

Take the fourth golfer out of groups 4 & 5 and add Alternate #2(Grant) to make a new Group 6 threesome. 

Alternate 1(Scott) goes into group 4. Group 5 will now be a threesome also.

We will have 4 foursomes and 2 threesomes.

If 2 call offs, Scott goes in the first call off spot and Grant in the second call off spot.

All threesomes goes out first

This would make it fair so guys don't think I'm making new groups up. 

This is a no brainer. 

This may sound confusing but I will explain it at the meeting.
